Unfortunately my unit is the one which has to have a SIM card installed in order to make phone calls. Karim is very responsive to emails and was very easy to deal with so I wholeheartedly recommend him for any repairs if your unit is broken. The unit works fine now and hopefully will last for the lifetime of the car.
Once the unit arrived with him he had it repaired, the latest maps installed and returned to me within a few days. My unit is the Magnet Marelli one with with the Hard-drive in it and trying to find one on eBay is like trying to find hen’s teeth! I had almost given up when I came across this website and contacted Karim who said he could repair it for me. After doing a software update on my RT4 unit in my Peugeot my whole unit died.
